Final Sound Dr shows for 2023

It’s been a huge 2023 and we’d love you to join us to finish it off in style with two great nights of music.

On Friday 6 October Melbourne band RVG swing by on the world tour for their third album Brain Worms and do what they do best: “unfurl the oddities of modern life through lyrics spiked with pathos and black humour” (The Guardian). With their blend of lush jangling guitar pop with elements of wiry post-punk, goth and ’80s college rock, this is a Friday night stand-up show not to be missed. Support on the night comes from ex-local four-Piece alternative rock band Paraquay.

On Saturday 7 October Didirri returns to Anglesea – this time with a full band and a brand-new (debut) album. With his raw talent and heartfelt lyrics Didirri is a captivating performer and we know Sound Doctor audiences are going to be blown away by this incredible show. Adding to the magic is local singer-songwriter Maddy Petch bringing her brazen voice, broad chords and rainbow indie-pop melodies as support act.

These are last two shows for the year – and we won’t be back until March – so don’t miss your chance to be part of it.
